Small businesses play a critical role in maintaining a thriving community, and their partnership is equally critical to the success of United Way of Central Illinois as we work together to make Central Illinois a place where everyone has equal access to and participates in basic needs, education, financial resources and quality healthcare.

Workplace giving campaigns are the cornerstone of fundraising for United Way of Central Illinois, uniting businesses, and employees across Central Illinois in efforts that help create a community where everyone thrives. United Way of Central Illinois's 365 Small Business Circle is a giving initiative aimed to make philanthropy easier and more rewarding for small businesses.

Please consider donating $365 and joining the 365 Small Business Circle. As a local business owner, your contribution matters. With one gift, you are impacting dozens of programs in our community. 100% of your donation stays local in Sangamon and Menard Counties. When your business contributes, you join those in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, education, government and other business leaders to help our friends and neighbors who need it. Together, we can make their lives better.

There's nothing small about your small business contribution. For an annual gift of $365, or one dollar per day, your gift can help us provide:

• a new “welcome kit” for a new resident at the Wooden It Be Lovely home (includes towels, sheets, soap, shampoo, deodorant, journal, calendar, toe bag, laundry basket, pillow, robe, and snacks).
• 14 Girl Scout registrations for girls from low-income households in our community.
• 47 nutritional  meals for children in our care or 935 diapers at Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery.
• Background screenings for 15 new potential mentors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois.
